Flickr Friday - Here Fishy Fishy Fishy

Last weekend, as part of my 30^th birthday extravaganza, Ally and I headed down to Chicago on the train to wander the streets, and go to the Shedd Aquarium. We had an awesome time... and as you might expect... I took my camera with me. Here are the results:

Nicely done...looks like the lighting on the exhibits or tanks is kind of set up to take snaps. I assume it's a "no flash" allowed? Not that it would work through the glass.

There is no flash allowed, not that some people paid attention unfortunately. I saw a lot of flashes going off, and only occasionally did anyone on staff stop people who were using flash.

The lighting is actually hit or miss in the tanks, so a lot of my pictures didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped since the fish hardly stay in one spot, and my lens just isn't quite fast enough.
