This Could Sting

Now as it turns out right now, the Palin bump is gone... and its coinciding with the beginning of the current financial crisis.  This tells me, that at least at the moment, people are tying together McCain as Bush, and blaming the current administration for these problems.  It will be interesting to see whether McCain can get this narrative to change to the one he prefers.

Weak and inaccurate analysis. The Palin bump is not gone. The base of his party is more energized and Palin helps him reach out to middle class and female voters in a way no other vp selection could have.

Still an uphill climb for that ticket, but it's foolish to underestimate the impact Palin has had on this race.

Spoken like a true party loyalist. The base may be energized, but there is no way for you to justify saying the bump is gone. The statistic bear it out. Show me statistics where the bump is still present, and we'll talk about it.
