Here is a first in a series of posts sharing some of the pictures I managed to take while I was in California.  The first day I was there, I got my rental car and drove down to my sister's lake house.  But I decided to take the long way, and followed the Pacific Coast Highway.  It just about doubles the time it takes, but its 10 times as beautiful.
