I'll admit it... this one surprised me. The Supreme Court made the right call and overturned the outright ban on handguns in D.C. I'm surprised because of late, the court has done a terrible job at properly interpreting the actual text of the Constitution. First with the Kelo case, where they found that public doesn't actually mean public, and then with medical marijuana where they found that interstate doesn't actually mean crossing state lines. I figured they would find that "shall not be infringed" would somehow actually mean "can be infringed". It would have been par for the course really.
