Not a Good After Concert Experience

I was at this concert Saturday Night and had drinks nearby afterwards.  Imagine my shock when I saw this in the paper today:

A leader of the Milwaukee Symphony Chorus was stabbed to death early Sunday in a parking garage near the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts.

Police said they arrested Elisabeth Witte's ex-husband and that he admitted to the attack, which followed a symphony performance and a jubilant celebration afterward at a downtown nightspot.

"They were all glowing," symphony-goer Allan Wirth said later. "It was a marvelous performance."

Police said Witte's ex-husband was found standing over her body, with a 5-inch knife nearby in a pool of blood.

The 70-year-old man was taken into custody and could face charges as soon as Tuesday.

"He immediately admitted to the officers that he had killed her," said Milwaukee police Capt. Gregory Habeck.

There's really nothing else that can be said.
