Activist judges only affect the law when a case comes before their court.

Activist legislatures can pass stupid laws whenever they see fit.

And "activist" is a handy word you can use to get rid of an elected official. I think it comes from the Latin for "he's not doing what I want."

Gentlemen, you forget that Nick is a libertarian; thus, he pretty much hates government.

A couple of follow-on thoughts:

- Activist judges get all the cases they'll ever need to affect every law from activist lawyers.
- It's easier to overturn the results from activist legislatures than activist judges.
