How Is That Better?

I found this quote amusing, regarding the news that the US Bowling Connference will more than likely be moving out of Milwaukee:

Berglund, it appears, is not a big fan of Milwaukee or its transportation system. According to a source who was present at the staff meeting, Berglund said Milwaukee is a second-tier city with a poor transportation system. By transportation, he meant Mitchell International Airport.
...
Mark Miller, a spokesman for the USBC, said he was in attendance at the same meeting. He said Berglund did not call Milwaukee a second-tier city. He said Berglund merely said Milwaukee was not a first-tier city.

So while Berglund was stating that Milwaukee was second-tier, the spokesman for the USBC wants you to know that in reality, he keeps the possibility open that Milwaukee could in fact be a third or fourth-tier city.  Not exactly what I would call good spin control.

Perhaps he doesn't believe in seperating cities into a tier system at all? Which would mean that Milwaukee, to him, isn't a first tier city, and neither is New York City.
