Google Is Watching You

If you look up Milwaukee in Google Maps, you'll notice that Street View is now available here.  Click on the Street View button in the corner and you'll see all the areas in blue have photographs available of them.  Go look up your address, and you'll probably see a picture of it.  Scary huh?

Friend of mine sent me the link, you can see his car in the driveway. Can't make out the plate though, but I think the picture might have been taken before his permanent plates came in.

I showed this to a coworker of mine, and he looked up his address, and saw his house during the summer with a temporary no parking sign out front. He said the sign was only there for about two weeks while they worked on a section of sidewalk across the street, and he thought it was last July. So that should give an approximate time frame.

I thought it was encouraging to see my house with no snow... The lawn could be mowed though ;-)

I would agree with the July date. And it is 2007, if we didn't know the year.

Scary? Yes. Cool? Definitely yes.

So that's what the place looks like without snow. I'd forgotten.
