<< Well Of Course... But All Your Lunch Boxes Are Belong To Us >>
Sometimes You Just Feel Like Picking a Fight

For those people who think this t-shirt is funny... why is it OK to use that word to refer to Hillary, and not to Jessica?  For my part, I think it's inappropriate to refer to any woman using that word.  But I have a feeling there is at least one person who will feel the need to defend the difference, and I guess I have a bit of morbid curiosity as to how you can twist your ethics more than a pretzel.  So anyone who would care to explain it to me, I'd appreciate it.

Because anything about Shrillary is funn-ee? If someone invents a cool nickname for someone we don't like, we should pat them on the back and encourage them to say it over and over, right?

I don't much care for the word, applied to anyone. But I did think the creativity was amusing. :)

I really can't stand Hillary Clinton - I have zero respect for her. However, the t-shirt is, while creative, blatently classless. The word is wrong, no matter who you label with it.

A question for Kate and rc: When McBride expressed her outrage at the c-word, it was done in a similar "creative" context, but he was pilloried. Why is creativity a consideration in the first place?

It's not funny or creative. It's crass and stupid.

I cannot stand Hillary Clinton, but you do not call *any* woman the c-word. Regardless of her political affiliation. Period.
