Cue The Call for Laws Restricting Caffeine from Minors

What age do you think would be appropriate for young people to starting taking in caffeine?  We keep them away from alcohol until they're 21, and clearly now it's being shown that caffeine can be just as dangerous...

A British teenager was rushed to the hospital Wednesday after she drank 14 shots of espresso.

The Northern Echo, a Gannett publication, says 17-year-old Jasmine Willis slammed the potent drinks because she needed something to perk her up while working the morning shift at her father's cafe.

She's lucky. The Mayo Clinic says heavy caffeine consumption -- more than four to seven cups of coffee -- can make you really, really sick. A severe overdose can cause fatal heart palpitations.

It's coming soon... Starbucks will soon be required to ask for ID.  You just wait.
