What Image Is That Now?

Ban the business!  That'll take care of the white trash image:

Saying such business no longer fit in with the image of downtown West Allis, city officials have banned pawn shops, thrift stores, and tattoo and body-piercing businesses from opening on portions of West Greenfield Avenue.

No word yet on whether West Allis residents who go to thrift stores, get tattoos, or pawn their belongings will be run out of the city on a rail.

This oughtta make the strip club and the prominent 24 hour "bookstore" thrilled they're really classin' up the place.

Maybe they supported the ordinance James... now they can't have any competition on that main drag. Rent seeking has been going on for ages.
