Support Your Local Sheriff with James Garner and Joan Hackett.  Fantastically hilarious movie, which was soon followed by Support Your Local Gunfighter with Suzanne Pleshette.  If you've never seen them, do yourself a favor and rent them immediately.  You'll thank me later.
