<< Oh What A Difference A Technology Makes Helping Stalkers One Query At a Time >>
It's Not Winter Anymore!

I'm looking at the Daywatch on the Journal website and I'm seeing a whole slew of closings and cancellations in anticipation of the coming storm... "Festival Tightens Down for Storm", "Weather Threat Cancels Town Meeting", "Storm Prompts Point to Cancel School".  What is with this weather obsession that the media has?  And why do so many other people feed into it, and let it freak them out?  I'm at work right now, but I'm willing to bet good money that if I were to turn on a TV at home, that I'd be seeing the local weathermen breaking into regular programming constantly with updates, and peeing their pants with excitement.
