Helping Stalkers One Query At a Time

Google Image Search has quietly released a new feature.  You can now add a new query string (&imgtype=face) to the end of your search that will turn on facial recognition, and only show you images that have faces in them.  Here is an example search.  Kinda cool.  Kinda freaky too.

You can't put the &imgtype=face in the search box itself, you have to perform the search, then append that at the end of the url in the address box. Was that your problem?

What's more freaky--that it finds pictures with faces or that when you Google your name, Tom DeLay's mug shot shows up?
