As I look at all the extra content I've created in my few years of blogging, I'm always a little disappointed when certain things seem to be much more popular than others. For instance, I have almost 500 pictures in my Flickr account now, but the top 20 measured by views are all Demotivators, and not some of my real photography. Here are the top 2:
What's interesting here is that the "Silence" demotivator is one of the first I made, while "Distraction" is one of the last, and is catching up quickly and will soon be #1. Sex does sell, and apparently so do sun burned boobies. As a small side note, I also get about a half dozen or more daily Google Image hits on this post featuring a KC Chiefs Cheerleader, not that I can blame people.
And when you look at my most viewed You Tube videos, the video of Wakeboarding crash scenes has more views than the other 12 wakeboarding video combined hands down. Apparently failure is much more popular than success.
What does that say about us that we find these things the most interesting?
