Taking the War On Drugs Too Far

Remember... these people are in charge of public schools, and actually influence the upbringing of our children.  How scary is that?

One tablet of Tylenol has landed an eight-grade student in big trouble at her Norfolk, Va., middle school, according to WVEC-TV.

Gabriella Nieves, 13, was suspended indefinitely because, by asking whether she could take the over-the-counter medicine that a classmate had given her for a headache, she was in violation of the school's "zero tolerance policy" regarding drug use, the report says.

Next they're going to come after Flintstone's Vitamins that some kindergartners take.

* Full Disclosure:  Not only do I use Tylenol, but I was also a Flintstone's Kid. *
