Sad to see you go, but in many respects Nick, I understand some aspects of how you feel given I'm in the same field of play you are in work wise. There are many times our hours are just not our own and our focus has to be on the job and sometimes blogging is the last thing on the list of things to do.....

I have taken breaks here and there...perhaps this is what you need...or perhaps a clean break is good. My experience from taking a leave of absence from blogging is that you can never stay away from it forever....it calls you back, so to speak. There will always be the 2008 election....and you'll always have your two cents.....

Remember the famous line from Godfather, Part III...."Everytime I get out, they keep pulling me back in!" :)

Enjoy yourself, and even though we've never met, it's been great getting to know you through your writings...

Happy April Fools Day, Nick!

If it were any of the other 364 days in this year, I'd be echoing Pete. However, my calendar says it's April 1st, so I'll do what Wendy did and wish you a Happy April Fool's Day.

BTW, the times on the comments seem to be 5 hours off.
