OK kiddies... it's time for another game of Keeping it Real Fake. Your challenge is to decide whether the following stories are real or fake. The first comes from Germany:
German judge told a 26-year-old woman that she couldn't file for divorce because Islamic law permits a man to "beat" his wife."The woman had filed for immediate divorce on the grounds that the husband, also of Moroccan origin, regularly beat her and threatened to kill her. The claims were backed up by a police report," the AFP wire service says. "But the female judge, who has not been named, made clear in a letter that the wife's bid had little chance of approval because, according to her, Islamic law allowed a man to strike his wife."
That can't possibly be true... can it? Can it? OK... on to your next challenge. This one comes from Britain:
A council is planning to catch residents who leave rubbish out on the wrong day - with cameras hidden in baked means tins.Sneaky Ealing Council in West London will also put the tiny CCTV bugs inside house bricks to film offenders. Householders caught breaking strict new rubbish rules - dubbed "enviro-crimes" - will be fined up to £1,000.The surveillance plans have outraged residents who say it is the latest example of Big Brother Britain. It follows a £2million scheme adopted by six councils to put the devices in wheelie bins.
So what are your guesses? Is life imitating parody?
