Perhaps you'll recall, many Democrats threatened to move to Canada or France if George Bush beat John Kerry.  My brother-in-law was one of them actually.  Which lead to a funny moment when I sent him a French/English dictionary after the election.  Anyway... now that the Democrats are in charge, and threatening to do awful stuff like this for instance (via From Where I Sit), where can I run to?  I can't run to Canada or France, because they already have oppressive taxes, near socialist governments and universal health care.  The United States used to be the last bastion for people who actually wanted to be free.
