A friend of mine at work forwarded me this story about John Edwards jumping into the Presidential fray, and we just started laughing:
John Edwards, the Democratic vice presidential nominee in 2004, launched a run for the presidency on Thursday with a call to cut U.S. troops in Iraq, reduce global warming and end poverty in America.
End poverty huh? Right... let's get right on that. And if you think you can just go and end poverty John, why are you only going to "reduce" global warming? Can't you just end that too? Oh wait... you can't do that. You'd have to ban the hair spray you desperately need to fully end global warming. That would be too much of a sacrifice wouldn't it?
And while we're at it, why not throw in "ending world hunger" and "achieving world peace". I mean... really. Why not?
