Ahmadinejad to Invite David Copperfield to the Middle East

In a surprise announcement during talks with the Palestinian Prime Minister Saturday, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced that he was going to invite David Copperfield to the region in order to perform a great magic trick to lift the spirit of the beleaguered people there:

Saying the Israeli regime was inherently a "threat," and was "on the verge of disappearing" Haniyeh praised the support of the Iranian government and nation for the cause of the Palestinian nation.

The President of Iran went on to say that because of sanctions against various countries, collecting the necessary funds to hire Copperfield was difficult, but he was confident that the disappearing act would be a success.  In other news, a worldwide shortage of mirrors and smoke makers has been reported.
