Common Sense Advice For The Technologically Challenged

If you're driving in your car on a cell phone with a hands free microphone system that requires you to hold the microphone in your hand next to your mouth in order to be heard, then it's time to buy a new hands free system.  This piece of advice is going out to the woman I saw driving a Mercedes Benz SUV on Highland this evening.

Update 10/18: Interesting... I saw another woman (or was it the same woman) walking down Michigan Ave doing the exact same thing.  What is it about the hands free microphones that make people still want to hold it in their hand when they talk?  Is there a deep down tactile need to hold something while talking?  Are you afraid they won't hear you if the microphone isn't 1" from your mouth?  Maybe I should ask my sister Sarah, who I've seen doing the same thing.  Which now that I think about... I find it strange that I didn't make some sarcastic remark to her about it at the time.  That would be the typical smart ass brother thing of me to do.
