<< It's an Honor Just to Be Nominated What Do These Things Have In Common? >>
Last Race of the Year

Saturday night I'll be heading up to Lake Delton to see some cousins, and then Sunday morning I'm getting up bright and early for the Devil's Challenge Triathlon at Devil's Lake.  This will be my fourth year in a row competing in this one.  It's the first triathlon that I ever did, and it's the only race where I've consistently improved my time every year.  I'm hoping I'll continue the trend this year.

This is my last triathlon of the year, but I'm still looking for a few late season "somethings" to do.  I had at one point thought about doing the Lakefront Marathon as part of a relay team, but was unable to get enough people together.  That same weekend is also the Green Bay Duathlon, which I've done before.  However, my friend Matt is getting married that weekend, and I know there is no way I'll be in any shape to do a 2 hour race after a two hour drive the morning after drinking and partying.

So now I'm searching for some races in October or early November.  Maybe just some 5K or 10K runs.  Anyone know of some good ones around?
