<< Use Less, So I Can Use More Do You Have a Sendiks Purse? >>
Welcome to Sheehanistan

I suppose it was really only a matter of time.  After all, she hates the President so much, I suppose it's only natural that she'd want leave the country.  Who knew that her idea of leaving the country would be creating her own in Texas:

Now almost 40 days into her fast supporting war resisters and their families, Sheehan, though weak, announced that she is offering land she bought in Crawford near Bush's ranch as a refuge for U.S. troops who desert to resist the war in Iraq.

Does she really think that she can actually do that?  That somehow her little spot of land in Crawford is immune from the laws of our nation?  Does she think she's now President of Sheehanistan?  Or is it more of a dictatorship?  After all... I didn't read anything in that article about elections in her little country.

I loved the bit about her being weak too.  I guess that Jamba Juice isn't as nutritious as we originally thought.

I think she is weak from carrying all that weight.

It would be nice if the deserters came to Crawford. It would make is easier to find them so we could lock them up.

I wonder if she will have a memorial there to honor the heros of the jihad?

Sounds like she is using private property for commercial use to me. What about zoning requirements as far as structures? She does have some place to house all those no doubt overflowing crowds of deserters doesn't she? What are the odds that a "sympathetic" reporter who happens to be a veteran can get on the land to get some juicy quotes from those who take her up on her offer? I mean just because a group with leather jackets that say "Rolling Thunder" on them show up on motorcycles doesn't mean they aren't legitimate reporters. Just saying Col Cower (Ret) does work for Fox News.
