When I mentioned below that there are a lot of novices in this race... I really was not kidding.  In about the second or third mile of the bike leg I saw a woman on the side of the road with her bike.  I thought maybe she had a flat or some other mechanical failure.  As I rolled by I looked over and realized she was standing there talking on her cell phone!  Who brings their cell phone with them while they're in a race?!  I really have to wonder what that conversation was like.  Any ideas?
