Frankly, I have very little patience for graphics artistry.  I try from time to time, but I realize that it's just not something I excel at.  One thing I have wanted to do for a little while now is to create a logo for the Carnival of the Badger.  Something distinctive, something eye catching... in other words, something I can't make.  So if you fancy yourself a graphics artist, or if you just enjoy playing around with graphics tools... make me a logo.

The Submission Guidelines are pretty straight forward:

• It should have something to do with Wisconsin.
• It should not have anything to do with the Green Bay Packers.
• It should incorporate the phrase "Carnival of the Badger" somewhere.
• It should look good if resized.  In fact, it would be great if you would create multiple versions of different sizes to use for different purposes.  One small, one medium, one large.

Start working on your graphics now, and I will accept submissions through Sunday, June 18th 2006.  On the 19th I will post all the graphics I've received, and allow you to vote for which one you like the best.  I of course reserve the right to make my vote count more than the rest of yours combined.

The winner will not only have my thanks and admiration, but I will make sure that your ability as a graphics artist is hailed far and wide throughout the cheddarsphere.  Your graphic will also be used in all Carnival of the Badger postings, and will be featured at BlogCarnival.
