It stands for "Republican In Name Only". Someone who calls themselves a Republican, but doesn't really hold the party line. But is it a slam.... or a compliment? If you read the Badger Blog Alliance, or many of it's members, then it's a slam. It's someone who is a Republican, but still passes laws that enlarge government, and takes away personal freedom's.

But there's a new movement under way... to reclaim RINO. There is a new TTLB Community which I'm joining called the Raging RINO's. It's for those who think that the Republican Party has lost it's way with it's pork barrel spending and invasion of privacy... but doesn't think the Democrats are any better. Are you a small "l" libertarian like I am... sick of the anarchistic talk of the Libertarian Party? Come on over! Thanks to The Commissar for starting this one up.
