A Question About Drugs
Congress is having hearings over steroids in sports. The drug war is no closer to being won now then when it was started. States are putting cough medicine behind counters and requiring a photo ID to buy in order to prevent it from being used in meth labs. So I pose a question to you. What if drugs had no side effects?

What if you could take steroids, become a better athlete, and not worry about long term effects? Would you still be against professional athletes using them? Why?

What if you could get high on a Saturday, and go to work on Monday without any hangover... absolutely no addiction, or possible damage to your brain or body in any way. Would you still be opposed to using drugs? Why?

If you would be opposed to using either yourself... would you still be in favor of laws banning their use for others? Why?

Is the war on drugs about health concerns for drug addicts... or is it fundamentally about something else?
