So I was in my car last night, and was sick of listening to the commercials that happened to be on the station I normally listen to. Rock 102.1 every couple of weekends does a "That 90's Weekend" which is cool. The problem is that when they do one of those, the number of commercials tends to jump to. Then I'll switch to Lazer 103. But as if by some pre-arranged agreement, when Rock 102.1 is doing commercials, Lazer tends to have a commercial too.

I started hitting the preset buttons on my radio to find something else, when I happened upon WMYX. They're sort of a pop station, and I don't listen to them very often. They had Christmas Music on! Apparently they started playing it Thursday night. Are you kidding me? I don't mind a station or two doing the holiday music thing. In fact, I sometimes turn them on an sing along in my car to some of my favorite songs. But before Thanksgiving? I don't think so. Thanksgiving used to be the cut off date that everyone understood to be the start of the Christmas season. The problem is that the earlier and earlier they start with the Christmas music, the sooner and sooner I'll get sick of it. It would be nice one year if I actually got to Christmas without being sick and tired of Christmas.
