Is There an Election Somewhere?
Tomorrow I'm doing the Pewaukee Lake Triathlon, and today I went by and picked up my packet.  I like to drive by the day before if possible anyway, so that I won't have problems in the morning when I'm tired getting there, and so that I can drive the bike course and get a feel for it.  I pulled up this morning to where they had the tables setup, and there were a bunch of really nice old ladies at the table.  Normally, people who do triathlons also help organize them.  But this one looked like the table when you go to vote, where all these retired women are looking things up in books, and giving you your stuff.  It was really kinda funny.  She nicely explained to me everything in my bag, and explained the important rules about wearing my number, etc.  I thanked her, got in my car and just chuckled.
